Early on, in some difficult playing conditions, Liam Thomas was denied a goal from a great strike by the Kingfisher keeper tipping it onto the crossbar. Soon after, Martin Butler had a superb effort rebound from the post and suddenly Old House found themselves 2 - 0 down from a quick ball over the top and lightening runs from a kingfisher forward. Keeping their heads, Old House battled away and Butler slotted one in the corner of the goal to bring it back to 2 - 1 down, just before half time.
However, the game was already won and Butler soon followed to complete his hat-trick from another poorly-defended corner and proceded to stamp his dominance on the game with a fourth from outside the box. After a great performance and a convincing win, Old House have 3 points in the bag and now look forward with anticipation to adding to this tally in their mid-week clash with old rivals Bournville Celtic. |
