Smithswood Colts V's OHAFC
5 - 2

Despite going 1 - 0 down from a freak goal in the first minute, Old House started well. In spite of most of the posession and the better play the first half finished with Old House 2 goals down after having one cleared off the line just before the break.

On the hour mark, Old house went further behind when the defence just stopped - even though their opponents (or the ref) didn't. Old house fought back and a brilliant strike from Liam Thomas for his first of the season bought it back to 3 - 1. Smithswood then continued pushing and put the scoreline out of reach at 5 - 1. Shortly after, Nathan Roberts was brought on for Dan Sheldon and Old House suddenly started to come to life, but by this time the damage was already done. Another brilliant strike from Thomas brought Old House back to 5 - 2 and this is how the match finished.

Times look hard with a few teams beginning to pull away at the top of the table and a huge fixture next week, away at the Premier league's Videotone. Can Joe pull himself out of bed? Will Dave be able to drag himself back for a repeat of today? Will John have a shave? Will everybody pay their subs just once? Tune in, same time, same place next week to find out!!
